Tips for improving your posts

If you want your posts to sound authoritative and confident, make sure you use capitalization and punctuation, especially on topic titles. Correct grammar and spelling are great, but I think everything else flows from these two things. They are simple and easy. Even if you get the punctuation wrong it looks better if you try.

If you don't believe it makes a difference, see for yourself:

Besides the expected discussion areas, we have a forum to plan online games, a role playing forum, a forum for posting and reading comics, and a current events forum. There is often Nintendo news and rumors posted there that don't make it to the main page. Don't miss out!

Did you do this because of what I said?

Also, it does make a big difference guys. When you use punctuation, it makes you sound more intelligent, and it makes it look like you care.

Ah, well I don't plan on ever making it a rule like some other more authoritarian forums. I don't think it needs to be. It's in a person's self interest to make their posts as good as possible, and if they do not they will suffer in other ways (lack of credibility, perceived immaturity, and so on).
