Toad's Castle is 11 years old

Another year has passed! There is not much to discuss about the site this year. Though last year's Joomla project never panned out, it's still my goal to get the site into a modern CMS. In March I sketched out a plan to do a WP version of the site, but as usual I never actually made the time to work on it. So, we'll see if that goes anywhere this year.

In more personal news, I recently bought a 3DS so I actually have a current generation gaming system for the first time in quite a few years.

I bought a 2DS because Pokemon X.

I mostly just use the Pokemon-amie feature and haven't even made it to the second gym yet.

I haven't tried playing online yet. I have New SMB2, Mario Kart 7, A Link Between Worlds, and Mario's 3D Land, but I haven't played 3D Land yet because I'm focusing on Zelda first.

3DS is easily my favorite Nintendo handheld. There's just so much content there, through the rich library, the eShop, the Virtual Console, all of the games already on the system, and so on. And the Fire Emblem, Kid Icarus, and Animal Crossing games are definitely the best in their series.
