Video Section

The video section will host any sort of fan-created video that relates to Mario, or at least to Nintendo. These can be gameplay videos, reviews, movies, guides rants, or anything else you might come up with. I would've liked to create an easy way to upload these videos, but the low HTTP upload limit imposed by my host prevents me from doing something like PicUp for videos. I've looked into perhaps using PHP or Flex to build a flash-based client that uses an FTP connection, but so far I have nothing to show for it.

Nevertheless, I don't want to delay the debut of these section any longer, so I have created an FTP account that could be used to transfer the videos. Email me with a description of your video and I will send you the necessary information to upload the video. Hopefully this will eventually be an easier and more streamlined process. As soon as I get enough videos I will begin sorting them into categories. Until then, they will all be listed on the videos page.

Videos may be in any standard video format. I will be converting them into FLVs to play with Flowplayer. If your video can be played in a program like VLC player or Windows Media Player it should be fine.

I was thinking of doing Personal Reviews, but is it worth it? I don't want to waste my time on something no one would actually watch.
