The last movie you saw..

by spaz » Sun Feb 26, 2006 3:34 am

So I'm pretty bored, and it seems like we need some fresh new topics to kick-off the forum once again.. so basically this is a movie thread. [As the title would suggest.]

Just tell us the last movie you saw. It can be an old movie, a movie in the threater or whatever.. just the last thing you saw recently and do a small review about it.

The last movie I saw was Final Destination 3.

This would have to be the best of all the FD movies. It starts off with a bunch of teenagers at an amusement park. A girl has a premonition that the coaster with her friends in it ends up failing and they all die. After the premonition she tries desperately to free herself, and starts yelling and screaming, which in turn makes the people at the amusement park halt the ride, so they never do get killed. Basically, the story is, all the kids die in the order they were suppoused on the ride. Each one seemingly more bizarre and gorey than the first. It's deffinately a must see, if you're into these kind of horror-gore movies. It also has Alexz Johnson in it. [Hawwwt]

8.5/10

I don't know if this was the last movie I've seen but I love it: Pirates of Silicon Valley.

The movie is the almost historically accurate story of the beginnings of Microsoft and Apple. The movie opens during the Apple's two Steves' college years when they were building Blue Boxes to get free phone calls out of pay phones, and ends with Microsoft's betral and the eventual firing of Jobs from the company he started. Along the way the movie is filled with dynamic and funny characters that perfectly fit their roles, right down to physical appearence. A must see for any computer user.

9/10

I last saw...

Gladiator, an hour ago. I'm not going to give an entire review, but it's awesome, a little too gory, but awesome, and I gave it a 4.6 out of 5.

The last movie I saw was Welcome to Mooseport, pretty good...kills over an hour pain-freely. And before that I saw Firewall with Harrison Ford, which was excellent. And before that, Star Wars A New Hope.

Not much. It's practicall Dave Chappelle playing a guy in his normal life, and then a crack dealer in the other. They meet up in the end, and it gets hilarious, I tell you.

If it has Dave in it then it must be good.

Not the best but pretty good with his racist jokes. Jim Gaffigan is great, and so is the recently deceased Richard Pryer.
