I won't go into any detail, but this movie was essentially perfect for me. Great pacing, great dynamic yet simple plotline, admirable characters and excellent character development...Pretty much, there was absolutely nothing I could just point to and say I didn't like it. I loved all of it. I could easily say it's one of my favorite movie's that I've seen. What's great, too, is that Andrew Stanton also directed Finding Nemo, which is another excellent movie, and given that Wall-E builds upon and improves the emotional a plot appeals of Finding Nemo, I'd say he has an absolutely great track record. If I could gripe about anything, it'd be that the humans aren't quite as interesting as the main plotline with Wall-E and Eve[-ah]...but, like I said, there's nothing bad about any of it, so it's only the contrast that makes it seem as if such juxtaposition is less than zealous.
But, yeah...if it's any consolation, I actually like Wall-E more than The Dark Knight. It's really one of those special movies that stands alone and does what it does exceptionally well, with no hindrances.
