Intro

Welcome to the fantasy fighting league! Here the rich and powerful draft powerful fighters to battle in teams of up to 5. Your role as a manager is to do nothing more than hire, sell, trade, and manage the members of the teams involved. This game is completely contingent on your team working together well, so try to think big picture, some fighters may not do well on some teams as they would on others. Fights are fought in best of 3 rounds, or 5 in finals rounds, with substitutions in between.

Drafting has not started yet, as I am still trying to balance fighters and get uniformity with the sprites I'm using. Feel free to register your team though.

Stats

The battles are based partially on dice rolls, and partially on the collective stats of your team as well as their skills. A fighter gains an additional stat point for every 4 fights they are part of that their team wins. The stats are as such:

Melee: Your teams melee score is a combination of the total melee stat of your two front fighters, half the melee stat of your mid range fighter, and none of the melee skill of your back fighters.

Ranged: Your teams ranged score is a combination of the total ranged score of your two back fighters, half the ranged score of your center fighter, and none of the ranged score of your front fighters

Speed: Your teams combined speed determines who strikes first in any round.

Defense: Defense scores do not combine as a team whole, but only from fighters of the same section (Front, Middle, and Back), this is how much of your opponents score in the same position as yours you can resist. Center fighters can choose who they want to defend against, but if defending against a front fighter they factor half their melee skill and half their defense, and same against back fighters with their ranged skill.

Age: Your fighters WILL age as they go on. At age 10, they must retire. 1 age point is gained for every 5 fights your team is a part of, even if you aren't in it. At ages 8 and 9 a fighter will take a stat decrease.

Health: Everyone's health is combined to create the teams whole health. Every 20% of your health lost causes one fighter of your choice to become inactive.

Likes: Characters you your fighter likes, this is based off of who they have had success with in the past, or failure. Stat bonuses will be awarded two fighters who are in the same position who like eachother.

Dislikes: Fighters dislike characters who they have had failure with are who have lost against often, they will take stat decreases being on the same team.

All new teams start with a $1,500 budget, which is good enough to get THREE fighters, the minimum require for minor league fights.
