Shantae: Half-Genie Hero

How many of you know about WayForward? Well, it's a video game developer, known to making GOOD licensed games, or rather, making games based on a per-existing license while keeping in mind that they're games first and a license second. They basically exist to fight the notion that all licensed games suck, and do so by making games that are good (or at least decent) as games. Such games include Batman: The Brave and the Bold - The Videogame, Adventure Time: Hey Ice King, Why'd You Steal Our Garbage?!, and DucktTales: Remastered.

They're also know for remaking or rebooting old IPs. Along with the aforementioned DuckTales remake, they've also made Contra 4, a Boy and his Blob, and Double Dragon Neon.

And then there's their own original games, such as Mighty Flip Champs, Mighty Switch Force, and of course, Shantae. Remember Shantae? It was originally for the GBC, and today is one of the most sought after GBC games ever (though it DID just become available on the 3DS eShop's Virtual Console). Then there was Shantae: Risky's Revenge, released for the Nintendo DSi (specifically as DSiWare, again also available on the 3DS eShop). there's also Shantae and the Pirate's Curse, which is an upcoming game for the 3DS. But the Shantae game I want to talk about is this:

Yep, an new Shantae game, this one apparently being some kind of origin story for Shantae. This one is going to be released on almost every platform available.

-Xbox One
-Wii U
-PS Vita
-Xbox 360
-PS4
-Steam
-PS Vita TV
-PS3

Because of that, WayForward needs a little help. They need at least $400,000 to make this a reality, and there are stretch goals to go with this as well.

-$500,000: Play as Risky Boots
-$600,000: Bonus Chapter - Sequins of Unfortunate Events! (includes new transformation)
-$700,000: Costume Swap
-$800,000: Bonus Chapter - Fire or Forget!
-$900,000: ? ? ?
-$1,000,000: Bonus Chapter - A Dish Served Cold!
-$1,100,000: ? ? ?
-$1,200,000: Bonus Chapter - Clockwork Night!
-$1,300,000: ? ? ?

As of writing this, they currently accumulated $283,441, and they have 19 days to go. It feels like they'll hardly make any of their stretch goals, which sucks because I kind of want to see those... Then again, asking for $1,300,000 is a bit much, and we don't even know what those are going to be... Still, if I could donate I would (but I don't have any money to spare), so I'm spreading the word to any interested parties or people. WayForward is an awesome company, and I'd say they've earned the right to get a dream project like this off the ground.

It's kind of weird to me a company like Wayforward is turning to kickstarter. They've been making a good amount of great games. Two of which have Adventure Time in the title so that's destined to make some money. They don't exactly strike me as a broke company. But I support this anyway. Shantae was neat.

It's sort of odd to me an organization like Wayforward is turning to kickstarter. They've been making a decent measure of extraordinary diversions. Two of which have Adventure Time in the title so that is bound to profit. They don't precisely strike me as a broke organization.

Ha wow. I still can't decide if I should delete these or just keep them so it looks like we have more activity.
