So basically, take EarthBound, and put it in the old West. Yeah, I can get behind that.

It apparently got it's support through Kickstarter funds and will be released for Windows and Xbox Live Indie Games. I'm SO going to get it when it comes out!

I generally hate westerns unless they're japanified with mech robots and the like. And the realistic animals look generic and ugly. I'm interested in seeing more though.

I also have to admit, I'm not a HUGE fan of the enemy designs either. Even the normal overworld sprites have me kind of iffy, I miss the dot eyes from the EarthBound/Mother games.

Really not sure what to think about this. It's definitely derivative of the Mother series, but I'm not sure if that's a bad thing since it isn't really that overdone of a style. At the same time though, there's a reason for that, because Mother honestly has pretty bad spritework in general. It ultimately depends on what the characters, charm, and story is like, I suppose.
