Daisy

First Appearance: Super Mario Land, 1989
Likes: Flowers, Luigi, Princess Peach
Dislikes: Boredom, Tatanga, Bowser (pretty much everyone hates Bowser)

The cheery Tomboy princess of Sarasaland. Her first appearance was in Super Mario Land, where she was kidnapped by the evil alien, Tatanga, until rescued by Mario. After that, she didn’t appear in any games for 10 years (with the exception of NES Open Tournament Golf, as she mad a cameo as Luigis caddie), until Mario Tennis for the nintendo 64. Since then, she’s been a Mario regular in the series!

Though once the mirror image of Princess Peach, she now sports her own look, including brown hair, bigger and rounder eyes, and a yellow dress, complete with a flower broch and flower earrings. Like her image, her personality has also changed from what was more of a clumsy girl (like Luigi) to the cheery Tomboy she is today.

And as far as relationships go, although she was rescued by Mario, they seem to be no more then acquantences (Mario rescues damsels in distress all the time). She and Peach seem to be really friendly with each other, since they are both princesses and both are the few girls that are in Mario games. Her most noticable relationship, though, is betweenher and Luigi. There have been many hints and rumors toward this fact, as even Nintendo adds to it, though they haven’t “offically” said anything. For the time being, it’s safe to assume that they are steady, growing lovers.

Daisy has appeared in Super Mario Land, NES Open Tournament Golf, Mario Tennis (N64), Mario Party 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, Mario Kart Double Dash!!, Mario Power Tennis, Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour, Mario Superstar Baseball, Mario Kart DS, and Super Mario Strikers. She was also a trophy in Super Smash Bros. Melee.
