Definently.
Robert is the leader of the school socialist society.

Me: So here's a joke: these three guys died and went to heaven and St. Peter said-

Robert: But God doesn't exist and "St." Peter is just a rotting skeleton of a fraud; why would you think he's waiting for you when you die? Man, you're an ignorant idiot. Talking to you is an insult to my intellect.

It wasn't really overrated, I'd say. It's a good movie, really, but it doesn't prove to be nearly as substantial as the Simpsons within the first 10 seasons. Really, the show has changed along with the fanbase, given that Family Guy (probably the least substantial show on television) has so many fans, and it's only in its 5th season. Now in the 18th season, the Simpsons has lowered its level of quality somehow, and the plotlines have become lackluster, as well as the jokes, since they mostly resort to the slapstick technique of administering humor.

If you realized, the plotline of the movie wasn't all that involved, which is what used the be the Simpsons' forte, and along with the plotline, plot-related joke came along as well. It was just this perfect momentum that defined to progression of the episode. But, in the movie, the plot was rarely touched upon, which caused a bit of an unstable pace, especially since a lot of screen time was spent making pointless jokes, like two gay guys making out behind the motel, for one. However, some of the old stuff was there, too, like the "Sop" sign (although, that scene was longer than it should have been), and then the joke where Homer was "between a rock and A Hard Place. " That's just classic Simpsons stuff that bears quality and relevance to the plot. However, some of the slapstick humor in there carries over from the show in its modern seasons, and makes it feel almost overbearing that it was put in just for some laughs.

So, overall, it's a good movie, but not great. It resorts to humor similar to Family Guy for God Knows Why, and so that subtracted a hell of a lot from what could have been an excellent movie. However, what was there involving the plot was very good, so you now that the writer's still have their touch, but the fact that there was such a lack of it is what subtracted quite a few points from it for me as well.

Season 1-8 were the best.

Best? The best movie evr is Goodfellas. The best movie this year, in my opinion, is Sunshine. In terms of Comedies, Knocked Up beats all others.

If I was writing with a pen, that wouldn't happen. I really suck at accuracy typing.

I'm a die-hard Simpsons fan and I thought it was a great movie. Probably no better than some of the best episodes, but it was still a great movie with lots of laughs.

Some of it went by too fast. Like the plot was too big for the timespan.
