 Castle Town is Toad's Castle's first Realm site. TC Realm sites are semi-autonomous sections of Toad's Castle that cover topics outside of the Mario universe. This one will cover the Zelda games. Take a look, and check back often as it grows. Reply to post | 4 replies |

| I've moved the channel to a new network, irc.geekshed.net. You can get there with a client like mIRC, and the chat page has been updated with a flash client. If you registered prior to the WyldRyde split your nick should still be registered there. | Welcome to the New Toad's Castle

| Two months ago on Toad's Castle's fifth birthday I promised a new design and various improvements to the site. The day has finally come to unveil these changes. The most obvious change is the layout. I completely redesigned it, and I believe it's safe to say we now have one of the nicest looking Mario fan sites on the internet. The left nav bar provides access to all of the essential content pages, while the right bar gives links to forum topics, polls, and the login system. The buttons in the new banner quickly direct new users to the key parts of the site. Almost every page is now entered into a database which allows me more flexibility in providing access to our content. The games by system and contributors pages are currently the best examples of how this data can be used. Both are generated from the database and will never be out of date. For more information about the login system, see this page. There is still work to be done. In the coming months, I hope to implement sorting features on section indexes, an easier submission process (not that email is difficult!), profile editing, wiki-style game page editing, the badge system that was discussed, and games such as Find Toaldo. | I'm happy to announce that we will be hosting for our forum members Wii Gaming Events for games such as Mario Kart Wii, Super Smash Brothers Brawl, etc. Currently the dates and times set are Wednesdays and Saturdays at 8pm EST time and the meeting place is the ToadsCastle IRC Chat Channel #junto on the IRC server irc.wyldryde.org.
